Gam Jam

Made for the Game Off 2020 game jam by TX Brothers.

Use of theme: In addition to featuring a literal "moonshot" in the opening scene, this was a very ambitious project for us since we are new to game development.

Liked the game, good level design (what I saw, anyway, I didn't get very far). My one complaint would be the controls. They felt a bit unresponsive. Platform games like this generally need really tight, responsive controls. Otherwise, though, good job!

brilliant game , annoyingly i didnt 100% it but really enjoyed it !

Really liked this entry! Well polished. Below some impressions from my gameplay in level 1 (sorry for being bad!)

1:13:50 Lumi and the Dark Night

Lumi and the Dark Night is a charming platformer featuring Lumi (a bunny-faerie thing) who is doing what they can to restore light to the underground realm while returning themselves and their friends to the surface world.

This game teaches you new skills along the way and has hidden rooms for you to seek out. Achieving that 100% isn’t too hard, but does require a bit of thinking and back tracking. Not too hard, it is easy enough for a beginner to pick up a controller and play with a bit of challenge, but is likely a fun speed run for a gamer used to platformers.

The music looping is slightly problematic and sometimes very soft, but the original music by elegant possum is fun and works well within the environment.

Worth a play for some afternoon fun!

Can’t wait to see what the TX Brothers make next!
